Republicans deserve the credit for the improving economy. Markets began to improve after the mid term elections when Republicans gains congressional? seats and governorships. Republican prevented Obama from more borrowing, derailed his Cap and Trade Initiative, and has added some stability to the markets. The downward spiral would have continued if Obama still had his majority.

He didn't bring the troops home? like he said he was going to do in 2009; he just followed George Bush's mandated timeline for withdrawal that he passed in 2008 saying that all US troops would leave Iraq by the end of the year 2011. While he was President he actually started bombing sanctions in Libya and Yemen and sent special forces into Uganda. The only thing Obama really did was add more debt; anyone could do that.
