Hitting apex's is the key? too, try and make the corner as straight as possible. Try a few laps just learning how the car corners and then try for a quick lap. Once you've got the "throw it into a corner" technique sorted the race is a joy.

Straight forward turning the wheel and hoping the car turns won't work with this monstrosity of a car. The key is turning earlier and putting the car in a controllable slide. Take a look at another video of laguna seca with any other car and compare it to my video, you'll notice i'm turning into the corner far earlier. A faster entry speed to corners isn't necessarily a good thing when the car is trying to turn..

And cutting the corkscrew just wastes time in my experiance as the tyres have so little grip in the corners afterwards its works out faster to do it clean.
