B O A was caught by government for fraud, falsifying documents, at? the time of foreclosure, they paid 2 different company's in Georgia and Florida paying teenage kids $6.00 an hour to sign bank records giving b o a the paperwork they needed to foreclose. @LoneStarStuck so you say? in the us you pay more taxes than anywhere else in the western world? lets pick an easy one... look north, in canada the lowest income tax bracket is around 20-25% (can't remember the exact number) add 13% hst (sales tax in ontario) on to your net income and you are getting there. don't forget there is still e.I., cpp, and health care taxes to add. oh when you buy gas there is gas tax, road tax, then hst on those taxes... trust me you have it easy with taxes.... do so

These interest? rates for 29.99% which some private banks charge are simply unethical. How can people realistically pay down their debt if banks impose excessively high rates of APR. Poor people who work hard for their monthly pay are watching their wealth evaporate. Banking policy like this inevitably forces people to fall behind on their payments and then these predatory banks self-righteously charge a $15 dollar convenience fee which throws poor people even more into debt and misery.

I take that as a compliment. Besides, I'll never work in the finance industry. Heck, I am getting my masters in public health, so finance is not in my future. But my dad has a masters in economics so money is his career and life. Even he can watch this video and admit that there is a lot of unnecessary greed in banks today. Undoubtedly, earning a profit is necessary for a company to thrive.However, taking advantage of people by excessive and inane? charges is wrong.

OF course? it does not show the irresponsible conniving customer with every story in the book and the fact that most people are not in the driver seat of their financial situation and don't think they need to be. You want an employee reducing your legitimate profit?, especially after customer have been given grace more than once?. She needs to work for human services with that attitude.
