By: rogasSM. on 15 Mar 10, 20:45:40 i? used a timer remote wired controller from Aputure. original made for Nikon d80 or something, striped the wires and connected it directly to the nikon's ML-L3 chip. make a search on google about Aputure timers. if you cant find the trick msg me back to search 4 u. 35 euro for Aputure + 19euro for ML-L3 = much less than Nikon's remote which doesnt even support D3000
