By: politicoochie09. on 16 Nov 11, 16:19:59 @CaptainMacManus You're right, there are many ideas that are part of human imagination that? could be found to be real someday, but until they are found to be real, they are still just part of human imagination and nothing more. Scientists like to speculate about time travel, multiverses, and parallel universes, etc, but they are still only theories and the evidence is backed mostly by mathematical equations and not much natural observation. 1. It is impossible for something to create natural laws and then be governed by them.
2. There are no fundamental laws outside? of those laws god created. (for example, god created most of the laws, but the law a=a is law outside the universe, originated with god, or whatever bs christians wanna say)

Does our shared non-belief in all of these silly beings and ridiculous gods somehow document their existence? To argue that? non-belief in a being is somehow evidence or proof of its existence is clearly stupid and thoughtless.
What's the point of ... By: emaildoctor. on 14 Nov 11, 04:09:02 What's the point of it all? What's the meaning of everything? It's only what we make of it for ourselves, our fellow human beings, and the other life forms on this planet. Yes, it's all up? to us. If we don't find our own reason(s) for existence there will be none drawn for us. And when the universe and we are dead and gone, all of our purposes, the one's we created for ourselves, whether well served or not will be just as defunct.
If you believe in a ... By: emaildoctor. on 14 Nov 11, 04:00:00 If you believe in a glorious and heavenly eternal life, a paltry 100 years on earth would comprise far less than one trillionth of your entire existence. How significant is one trillionth of anyone's life? If you live one hundred years on earth that would amount to 3/100 of one earth second. In fact, a 100 year life on earth would comprise even a far smaller fraction of an entire eternal life. Thus living an eternal life? would make a 100 year life on earth completely insignificant.
