Last night, I got Cxbx to run the original Xbox Dashboard (XDK 3944). It's not perfect, but it's mostly working. It's has lots of visual bugs and no sound right now either, also you can't view the system info section or view view the memory section properly.

The original 3944 ... By: blueshogun96. on 03 Nov 11, 06:02:34 The original 3944 dashboard is really simple compared to the XBMC so I don't see Cxbx emulating it anytime in the near future. Also, Cxbx doesn't discern what the dashboard is since it's not a conventional emulator. It just runs whatever .xbe you throw at it. But at least XBMC is open source (making it a little easier).
A great idea for the Xbox Dashboard would be to let the user change various settings and allow those settings to be? saved in the registry key under Windows.
