This is my fourth ... By: Redpilldown. on 11 Apr 11, 11:00:22 This is my fourth attempt at giving? up in 20 years, I failed miserably each time. This is the longest I have been without a cigarette in 32 years. I have tried going cold turkey but got some real bad withdrawal symptoms, panic attacks, sweating and very aggressive. I am going to give chapix one more week then wean myself off. Congrats on managing 6 weeks, I will be over the moon if I make one week.

Decided nearly a week ago to stop taking any nicotine replacement products. Rough few days but starting to settle back in to the swing of? it again. Currently on Week 6 without any cigarettes.

By: dylandebbiesteph. on 12 Apr 11, 12:49:29 They say day 3 is when the cravings peak and become almost intolerable, it's all down hill from there on, and about 2 months until you are totally in the clear! This is certainly gonna be an adventure, but for now I'm taking it one hour at a time otherwise I'll lose the plot! If I could manage to stop horsing food into my gob I'd be delighted! LOL Mind you, the house is already starting to smell alot nicer, so thats a bonus! keep up the? good work!

I am going to order some flavoured re-fills (no nicotine) I think this is going to be a long process.....I never realised how badly addicted I was until today.... My chest feels much better so even if I have to stay on e-cigarettes I will not go back to? tobacco EVER!

I actually stopped smoking this evening, only cos I had none left. The hand to mouth habit is the killer, I tried the nicorette inhaler a few months? back, gave up for a week, but cos himself smokes.....it was impossible. Feel more positive about it this time tho....so u never know! lol

By the way, I took a 'Motilium 10' tablet with it, I find them fantastic, as I have a sensitive tummy at the best of times, so give them a go when your taking your Champix! (you can pick them up at the chemist, very cheap too!)
