This is me battling The Fury. My weapon of choice is the shotgun for direct combat, and the handgun to bait The Fury and blow up the fuel drums. While the shotgun is not the most accurate weapon, it inflicts significant damage to the enemy. I often stay at the corners so I don't get blind-sided when The Fury flys around using his rocket pack, or when uses his flamethrower. Enjoy the video.

For me, the most effective weapons against the fury are: the TNT ,you have to place it next to a fuel drum, and also the A-P detector, also the grenades were very effective against him, but the better weapon that you might use in this battle is definitely the SVD sniper into the dark, period.

Here is me battling 'The End' in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This was a difficult battle to master due to the environment, and The End's ability to detect you at extremely long distances. If it's clear, I concentrate on taking down the one down first. The Garrador with the bronze helm seems to have fewer hit points than? the one with the steel helm. However, they both take time kill with the knife so you need to be patient and very careful. Also, heal yourself whenever your health drops below half, to avoid an instant kill. Good luck.

If your lucky you can get two hits on him, but usually it's just one. Atterwards, I run a bit a bit, turn, and slowly back away. The Garrador will usually rush to the point where I stopped running. Try to repeat the process. Sometimes you draw attention from the second Garrador. If this happens, run and put a safe distance between you and the two Garradors.

First taking out the cultists (trying not to get surrounded), then the Garradors. As you may have noticed, I try to bait the Garradors to run their tallons into the wall, then I strike? with one or maybe two hits. The key is patience and not to push your luck. Also, keep your back to the wall so you don't get blind-sided. The rest is luck.

Beating this guy was so easy!? The Fear was the toughest boss in my opinion. For me, the most effective weapons against the fury are: the TNT ,you have to place it next to a fuel drum, and also the A-P detector, also the grenades were very effective against him, but the better weapon that you might use in this battle is definitely the SVD sniper into the dark, period.

I dont see why people have such a problem with this guy. He was one of the funnest bosses to fight for me, besides the boss. He wasnt THAT hard to beat,? i found it easier to tranq him, rather than to just run up and blast him.

@007GoldenLion That he was. 'The End' certainly was one of the greatest battles, but it was also frustrating learning how to beat him. One of the best parts was when you finally take him down, he doesn't feel animosity toward you, but instead, acknowledges you as? true warrior. It kind of made you feel bad when you defeated him.

@SagradaMascarita True that. This battle wouldn't be so difficult except the darkness really hampers things. I got my ass handed to me? several times until I learned tricks that worked with this guy. Even then it didn't always work. But then again, a game wouldn't be much fun without some challenge involved.

@vroomer1 Yes actually I did. You get 'The Fury's' flame camo afterwards. When equiped, it keeps physical damage from fire to a minimum and prevents burns. I already had this in my inventory, but I chose to use standard? equipment for this battle so as not to cheat.
